THE Ilkley Friends of Martin House who organised the annual Christmas Fayre in the Clarke Foley Centre would like to thank all who came along to support the event in the company of Marty Bear, the Martin House mascot.
In addition the Friends thank the event's sponsor, Tesco for its contributions and the helpful staff of the Clarke Foley Centre.
The Fayre was opened by Ilkley town crier Isabel Ashman. It was well attended helped by the good weather and the visitors to the town gathering ready for the lights switch on.
The good variety of games and goods offered by the 14 charities taking part were well received. Guide dogs Ben and Spencer attended with Ian Mallinson from Airedale and Wharfedale Guide Dogs for the Blind.
