1st Burley-in-Wharfedale Brownies are excited that building work is underway to build the nursery classrooms at Katiyo Primary School in Zimbabwe which they are fundraising to build.
The walls have reached the window frame level.
The Brownies are currently selling raffle tickets for their Christmas raffle which is drawn on the weekend of December 2. Tickets are £1 each and can be purchased by emailing 1stburleybrownies@gmail.com or at the Burley Christmas market on December 2 where they will have a stand at the craft market in the Queen's Hall.
Prizes include vouchers from James Hall Coaching, Eddie Sotheby Swim School, Cupcakes by Design, Waste Not, Mark Spauls butchers, Wharfedale Zumba and Fitness, Pat Hill and many more as well as wine, Prosecco and hampers.
