AN award-winning dementia day care service delivering support to people living with dementia in Otley is holding an open day.
The Rainbow Care Goup was established in 2017 and runs daycare groups in the Nidd and Wharfe valleys.
The Otley group runs from Clifton Village Hall, Newall Carr Road, Otley, LS21 2ES, on Mondays, between 10am and 4 pm, which is where the open event takes place on Monday, November 20 between 11am -1pm.
Debbie Cheetham, Community Engagement Lead at The Rainbow Group said: "This is an ‘open doors event.’ Anyone interested in finding out more about dementia care, and how we may be able to support them, can pop to see us, meet some of our wonderful team and clients over a cup of tea and a chat."
She added: "Our mission is to improve the way care is delivered to those living with dementia in the UK. We offer true person-led care, ensuring that our activities reflect the interests of our individual clients.
"We have a high staff ratio (twice the legal limit) enabling us to deliver high quality care. All our team members are dementia specialists."
