THE Ilkley Creative company have announced their first ever wall calendar for 2024, featuring 12 images of Yorkshire taken by local photographer James Genchi.

For every calendar sold, Ilkley Creative will be making a donation to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity.

The calendar features images of the local area, including shots of Ilkley, Otley, Malham Cove, Knaresborough, Haworth and more.

James started the Ilkley Creative Company in May this year and, in this short time, has since sold hundreds of photographic prints to people and businesses all around the world.

James, 31, of Burley-in-Wharfedale, studied photography at Bradford College before going on to work as a digital designer.

He said: “The support I have received so far for Ilkley Creative has been amazing, with many customers asking if I would be creating a calendar this year.

"This felt like the perfect way to share my photography, whilst raising funds for a local charity, supporting the lifesaving work the Yorkshire Air Ambulance do across the region every single day.”

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity providing a lifesaving rapid response emergency service to five million people across the whole of Yorkshire. To keep both of their air ambulance helicopters maintained and in the air, they need to raise £19,000 every single day.
