AIREBOROUGH Historical Society has put together a selection of items from its archives, which everyone has the opportunity to view until mid January 2024.
Elaine Ellwood, president of the society said: “I am very pleased to say Aireborough Historical Society have a cabinet displaying artefacts, ephemera and images of Aireborough in Abbey House Museum. This temporary exhibition will be running until mid January 2024. The exhibition is due to the hard work and commitment of the Aireborough Historical Society archive team and committee, along with the assistance of the Abbey House Museum staff. The display brings back memories of bygone days in Yeadon, Rawdon and Guiseley. So ensure you visit Abbey House Museum on Abbey Walk in Kirkstall open Tuesdays to Sundays."
Aireborough Historical Society is based in Yeadon Town Hall and for the past 66 years has been preserving the history of Aireborough for generations to come.
