AN autumn seed trail organised by Aireborough Rotary Club offers fun for all the family.

It is taking place at Rodley Nature Reserve, LS13 1HP on Sunday, September 24. You can choose your own time slot between 11am and 3pm by booking on www.ticketsource.co.uk/aireboroughrotary. You can make a voluntary donation on booking with all such gifts going to local charities.

Entry and parking are free and once inside you’ll be given a box to follow the trail and collect six different seeds: an acorn, a pine cone, a conker, a beechnut, a sycamore ‘helicopter’ and an ash key.

No dogs except for assistance dogs are allowed on the Reserve.

A spokesperson said: "Following the trail will let you see what Rodley Nature Reserve has to offer including its hides, its café and a list of what you might see. At the end there will be stalls including the Sand Game, Hook a Duck and the Human Fruit Machine as well as a Tombola with all prizes being toys. There will also be a honey man, a RSPB stand, Canal Trust, plants and Police Crime Prevention."
