Year 13 students receiving their A Level and vocational results at Guiseley School today are celebrating a successful exam series and preparing for their next steps at university, college and degree level apprenticeships.

The Headteacher, Mr Paul Clayton, congratulated the students and wished them all the best in their next steps saying: “These young people are amongst those most impacted by the turbulence of the previous 3 years in education and have shown themselves to be remarkably resilient. We are so proud of their achievements this year and their examination success. A huge majority have received the grades required to accept their offers at university, college or apprenticeships and they can look forward to their next steps, whatever they are with confidence and pride.

"We wish them all the very best for their exciting next steps.”

Amongst a strong set of exam results were some particularly impressive achievements from Tara Delaney, Daisy Jones, Bobby Mao, Megan Richmond, Annabelle Pollard, James Wilman, Theo Cowen, Joshua Crampton, Aaliyah Little and Jamie Locke.

Guiseley School students will now be preparing for those next steps with many having secured places at prestigious universities such as Edinburgh, Durham, York, Manchester, Newcastle, Lancaster and Leeds.
