THERE is plenty of reason to call into Blubberhouses Church, whether for reflection, medication, shelter, prayer or events.

Last weekend saw the Punk Panther runners enjoy rest and replenishment there and looking ahead to the weekend of Auust 19 and 20 and the Bank Holiday weekend of the 26th, 27th and 28th.the Nidd Art Trail will be on show.

The trail showcases the high quality work of local artists across many locations. From the Wharfe valley Blubberhouses makes an excellent starting venue. All these events are celebrated with home made refreshments and cyclists, walkers and runners are welcome. The worship service on Sunday, August 20 will be held outside around the new bench at the east end of the church. It will be a time of creativity and celebration. Everyone is welcome to create and cookery creations will be available straight afterwards.
