Wharfedale Male Voice Choir gathered on Monday, June 26 for their annual end of season lunch at the Wetherby Whaler in Guiseley and after their meal surprised staff and diners by assembling round the grand piano and bursting into song.
They sang three songs from their repertoire starting with Some Enchanted Evening, followed by Last of the Summer Wine and Rhythm of Life.
The choir now goes into summer recess until September when Music Director Paul Hurst will introduce some new music into the already extensive repertoire. However choir members will gather socially each week during the summer to maintain contact.
