ILKLEY Town Council is partnering with St Margaret's Church to hold a civic service on Sunday, May 7 for the whole town to commemorate the coronation of King Charles III and celebrate the part that Ilkley’s community plays in national life.
The service is open to all and will begin at 6.30pm in the church. All are welcome to attend with invitations sent to invited guests and community groups.
On Monday, May 8, the town council will be hosting a celebratory concert at Ilkley’s King’s Hall.
Artists taking part will include a brass band, a chamber choir and professional soloists who will perform solo items, coronation-themed music and crowd-pleasing tunes for all ages.
The concert is from 6pm and tickets are priced at £2.50 per person.
