On Friday, March 31, at Ilkley Manor House, Vincent Dobson will present a talk on Myddleton Lodge and the Black & White Hat Cricket.
Vincent will explore how the two subjects are linked and present his memories of the Lodge when it was the monastery. He will discuss why this time was special to him and the Black & White Cricket centenary celebration in 1979, captured on cine-film.
A spokesperson said: “Come to the House in person from 10.15 am for a hot drink and a biscuit, or viewers can brew up at home if they are watching the talk via Zoom. The in-person talk is £3 (a booking fee is payable via Eventbrite, or purchase tickets at the Box Office when the House is open): https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/coffee-morning-memories-of-myddleton-lodge-black-and-white-hat-cricket-tickets-523664774437.
