TWO Halloween events are taking place in Ilkley town centre this weekend organised by Ilkley BID.
Two Augmented Reality trails are available to download for free. The first ‘Halloween Hunt’ trail, a joint initiative between the LoyalFree app and Ilkley BID, runs until the October 31 and invites participants to enjoy some augmented reality spooky surprises when using their smartphone cameras.
You will meet Wanda the witch whose beloved cat Wicca is missing. Wanda must cast an enchantment to locate Wicca, but her potion cupboard is empty. Can you help Wanda find her potion ingredients?
The second ‘Spooky Ilkley’ trail on Ilkley BID’s dedicated Discover Ilkley app takes you on a terror-ific trail to capture seven virtual Augmented Reality monsters, ghouls and other creepy characters at ghostly locations across the town centre.
There’s also a chance to win a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds Live Wireless Earphones with LoyalFree’s national competition on Facebook @DiscoverIlkley, Instagram @discoverilkleyls29, or Twitter @Discover_Ilkley, and tag LoyalFree.
