THE Martinez Wine Extravaganza is back at the Kings Hall and Winter Garden in Ilkley next month.

It takes place on Tuesday, November 1st from 2pm to 8pm, with all profits going to Save the Children and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The annual event, run by Martinez Wines on The Grove, Ilkley, is a highlight of the wine merchants’ calendar as it brings together wine enthusiasts to sample and learn about a wide selection of wines as well as raising much needed funds for the charities it supports in the Yorkshire region.

The Wine Extravaganza is the brainchild of Jonathan Cocker, owner and manager of Martinez Wines, who is passionate about the event.

He said: “We’ve been running the Extravaganzas now for some years and they’ve been hugely successful, raising much needed funds for our charity partners. We’re really looking forward to this one on 1st November; it’s certain to be a fantastic event with over 250 wines to taste with retail prices ranging from under £10 to over £40, all complemented by award winning cheese and tapas.

"It’d be great to see The Kings Hall and Winter Garden packed with hundreds of wine and cheese lovers and be able to support Save the Children and Macmillan Cancer Support, so I urge everyone to buy their tickets now!”

Tickets are available to purchase in store at 35 The Grove, Ilkley, or by visiting the Martinez Wines website www.martinez.co.uk
