WITH just over a week until the 10th annual Addingham Beer Festival (October 7 and 8) things are coming together for what will be a much welcomed return of the festival to the village.
The committee has sourced over 40 beers in both cask and keg ranging from traditional bitters to IPAS, blondes, porters, stouts and lagers. There will also be separate cider, gin and Prosecco bars.
Food, supplied by local hostelries, will be available on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. There will also be a quiz on Saturday afternoon followed by a live band on the Saturday evening.
Over nine years the festival has raised and distributed some £70,000 to 145 separate local beneficiaries and occasionally in response to international emergencies.
