LOCAL brewery, Horsforth Brewery, will be hosting its second Beer Festival this August Bank Holiday weekend.

The event - which spans three days from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th August - will include beers from Horsforth Brewery’s own range, Bini Brew Co Kirkstall, Harrogate Brewing Co., Nomadic Beers, The Meanwood Brewery, and also Craft Beer Newcastle who will be bringing a selection of the best beers from the North East.

“We had such amazing feedback from the first festival from people who are really into beer, people who want to learn more, and also from people who just wanted a fun day out," said Mark Costello, owner of Horsforth Brewery. "We want to do it all over again with new beers to try, some great food and music, and hopefully the August Bank Holiday sunshine! It had been a number of years since Horsforth had a beer festival before ours earlier in the year and we’re delighted to be bringing the buzz around beer back into the village.”

Alongside their usual wide range of beers ranging from a smoothie sour to a double-dry-hopped Kveik IPA, Horsforth Brewery will be releasing at least three new beers for the festival including a new West Coast IPA brewed in collaboration with Kirkstall Brewery.

A ticket will get you entry to one of the five sessions across the three days (and one glass!).

As well as beers from the visiting breweries, there will be a street food pop up by popular Mexican restaurant Sabroso Street and Bueno Burger, ice cream from local favourites Nero’s Ices, and music from vinyl DJ, Plastique Fantastique, on the decks.
