AN ILKLEY man is to appear in court for trial after denying a charge of stalking.

Robin Woodhead, 49, of Ben Rhydding Drive, pleaded not guilty to an allegation of pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of Lisa Wallis at her property which in turn amounted to the harassment of her, contrary to the Protection From Harassment Act 1997.

The charge of stalking without fear/alarm/distress is alleged to have taken place between February 2 and February 28 this year in Ilkley.

Woodhead was granted unconditional bail until the trial on October 6 at Bradley and Keighley Magistrates' Court.
