AN Ilkley woman who admitted driving a Range Rover with no third party insurance in place and without a licence has been fined and had her driving record endorsed with eight penalty points.

Georgina Dawson, 34, of Brook Street, admitted the offence but was not present at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court when sentenced on July 14.

The offence occurred in Cunliffe Road, Ilkley, on June 2 this year.

Dawson was fined £120 for no insurance and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90.

No separate penalty was given for driving other than in accordance with a licence.

A collection order for the balance of £244 was made and agreed to be paid at £120 per month.
