OASIS tribute Fakermaker are preparing for a headline performance at Otley Live music festival on Friday, July 29 at Otley Courthouse (8pm) - with support from‘Paul Weller Movement’ Tribute.

Both bands are fully live taking you back to the halcyon days of Britpop with some classics from The Jam and Style Council thrown in.

A spokesperson said: "Fakermaker recreate the sights, sounds, atmosphere, and to some extent, the smells of 1995 to give the crowd what they want, which is a killer Oasis tribute, with enough decibels to leave your head ringing like a ghost train! Despite Liam’s twitter rants, we head into the ‘20s with no sign of an Oasis reunion on the horizon, so until then, Fakermaker are the closest thing you can get to seeing them live!

“Alongside this we have the ‘The Paul Weller Movement’, a stunning tribute to the Modfather himself. Playing all the best of Paul Weller’s illustrious musical career.”

Fakermaker is made up of Tom Hunt, lead vocal (Liam Gallagher); Luke Holdsworth, guitar and vocal (Noel Gallagher); Dylan Kyle, lead guitar (Gem Archer); Damien Stringer, bass(Andy Bell) and Steve Pickles, drums. (Alan White/Zak Starkey)

Tickets £16 from Ticketsolve - otleycourthouse.

The ‘Otley Live’ music festival takes place from Friday, 29 July to Sunday, 31 July with over 50 bands and artists playing at 10 venues in the centre of town.
