BUSES in and around West Yorkshire will run a Sunday timetable on Spring Bank Holiday Thursday 2nd June and on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday Friday 3rd June.
This includes double-decker DalesBus 875 from Ilkley to Cracoe, Grassington, Kettlewell, Buckden, Aysgarth and Hawes providing extra opportunities to visit the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Cravenlink buses 873 and 884, plus DalesBus 874, will also be running from Otley to Bolton Abbey, Burnsall, Grassington, Kettlewell and Buckden, providing extra opportunities to visit the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Nidderdale DalesBus 821 will also be running from Otley up the Washburn Valley to Pateley Bridge and Scar House Reservoir in Upper Nidderdale on both Bank Holidays.
A normal Saturday bus service will run on Saturday, June 4th followed by a full Sunday bus service again on Sunday, June 5th. All bus journeys starting within West Yorkshire will be free on Sunday, June 5 making it an ideal opportunity to save yourself money whilst doing your bit for the environment.
