POPULAR weekly teas run by the Friends of St Peter's, Addingham (FOSPA) on Sunday afternoons have restarted in the church hall after a break of two years caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
This is the 39th year that teas have been served by the Friends of St Peter's Addingham, with people of all ages coming from miles around to enjoy the delicious homemade cakes, browse the bric-a-brac stall, stroll in the field, visit and church and meet with friends old and new.
"We have been really looking forward to welcoming people back again," said the Rector, Revd. Mark Cannon.
The teas will take place every Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 5pm at St Peter's Church, Addingham, (except Jubilee Sunday) until October.
Over the years FOSPA has raised over £200,000 for the maintenance and enhancement of St Peter’s Church, hall and grounds.
