A MAN has appeared in court charged with possessing cocaine and ketamine with intent to supply at farm premises in Horsforth.
Stuart Wardle, 36, of Swinnow Drive, Swinnow, Leeds, also faced a charge of possession of criminal property, namely £3000, when he appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Friday, May 13.
It is alleged that between April 1, 2022 and May 6, 2022 at Acorn Hedge Farm, Scotland Lane, Horsforth, Leeds, he had in his possession a quantity of Cocaine, a controlled drug of class A with intent to supply it to unknown persons in contravention of section 4 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
It is further alleged that between April 1, 2022 and May 6, 2022 at Acorn Hedge Farm, Scotland Lane, Horsforth, Leeds, he had in his possession a quantity of Ketamine, a controlled drug of class B with intent to supply it to unknown persons and that on May 12, 2022 at Acorn Hedge Farm, acquired, used or had possession of criminal property, namely £3000.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges and the court directed trial by jury at Leeds Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody pending a further hearing at Leeds Crown Court on June 10.
Police executed a warrant at the farm premises in Scotland Lane, Horsforth, on May 5.
