THE NEXT meeting of Aireborough Civic Society will take place on Tuesday.
The event, at 7.30pm on January 25 will be held at Rawdon Library. Social distancing measures will be in place and attendees will be asked to wear a mask unless they are exempt. All are welcome.
A spokesman said: "There will be updates on the latest 'Saving Our Green Belt' situation, the planning application to add a two-storey extension to Micklefield House, another Horsforth Roundabout project and a multi-storey car park for Guiseley Station.
"We have a full programme of talks for the coming year, many postponed from 2019.
"This is a very special anniversary year for our Civic Society - it was set up 50 years ago in July 1972 following a large meeting in Yeadon Town Hall .
"On Tuesday the main community meeting will be preceded by our Annual General Meeting for 2 years 2020 and 2021 (due to Covid)."
