BRADFORD Premier League Premier Division new boys Ossett have received a plum tie in the first round of next season’s Priestley Cup.

They will host knockout specialists Pudsey St Lawrence on Sunday, May 1 – one of two all-top flight ties on that date.

The other is 2021 runners-up Townville, who will face visitors Farsley.

Division Two runners-up East Ardsley facing Division One East Bierley, while Division One runners-up Bankfoot will be at home to Birstall.

Holders New Farnley and league champions Woodlands are among eight teams to receive first-round byes.

Eight teams have received byes into the second round of the Jack Hampshire Cup, but Bowling Old Lane, who won the event in 2018, are involved in one of the eight first-round ties on Sunday, May 8, hosting Gildersome & Farnley Hill.

Crossflatts, winners of Division Three in 2021 in their debut season, face Liversedge at Ryshworth Park.
