ILKLEY Soul Club is returning to The Hollygarth Social Club on Leeds Road for two events in 2021.
This Sunday, November 28 from 3pm until 9pm there will be top quality northern soul, Motown and 70’s soul played on original vinyl by resident DJ’s Keith Hudson, Ian Smith and Danny Steel, plus special guest DJ Detroit A Go Go and well known northern soul DJ - Bradford’s Phil Dick. Admission £5 on the door.
On Bank Holiday Monday, December 27 from 4.30pm until 11.30pm there will be a Christmas soul spectacular when Ilkley welcomes Rolls Royce Soul Club from Barnoldswick. For 24 years that club has hosted a Christmas Soul special at the Rolls Royce Club in Barnoldswick on December 27. However, this year the venue is closed for Christmas and so Rolls Royce is coming to Ilkley. Top quality northern soul, Motown and 70’s soul played on the original vinyl releases over seven hours with seven DJ’s - from Rolls Royce - Roman, Mike Kemp and Richard Lodge and from Ilkley Keith Hudson, Ian Smith, Danny Steel and debutant Martin Bateson from Otley. Admission £6 on the door.
