FIRE crews from Bentham, Settle and Skipton, Harrogate and Hornby attended a 'substantial' house fire at Riverside Clapham last night at around 6.35pm.
A 45 metre aerial platform was used from Harrogate.
The crews had responded to a report of a chimney fire in a residential premises. On arrival this was found to have spread to the roof. Crews extinguished the fire and removed loose roof slates. The incident is to be revisited by a fire investigation officer.
