AN Ilkley beauty salon has been crowned the best in Yorkshire at the British Hair and Beauty Awards.
Luxe Beauty Lounge, based behind the Grove, was entered into the 'Excellence in Customer Service', 'Workplace Environment of the Year' and 'Beauty Salon of the Year' categories. More than 4000 words of supporting evidence, along with videos and photos were sent to judges describing all the highlights and events of the last 12 months.
The salon was able to win all three awards and was officially named 'Beauty Salon of the Year' for the Yorkshire region. Luxe also scooped bronze for 'Best Workplace Environment' and 'Excellence in Customer Service.'
Owner Emily Slater said: “We are beyond thrilled to win these awards, it feels like all the hard work over the past 18 months is finally paying off. It’s given the team a huge boost and it means so much to have won these awards at such a prestigious event within our industry. I’m particularly proud to be named ‘Salon of the year’ as there was a huge number of fabulous salons up for the award.”
