OTLEY town centre’s only dedicated Bed and Breakfast has gone on sale.
Specialist business property advisor, Christie & Co has brought to market Dowgill House, a Grade II listed Georgian town house that has been restored by the current owners, Tim and Helen Wilkinson, who are planning to retire. It comprises four en-suite bedrooms, three reception rooms, and a separate floor for the owners private accommodation.
They said:“It’s been a pleasure to live and work in one of the oldest and probably best preserved houses in Otley, building up our business since 2008. Everyone in Wharfedale knows us and with no other letting rooms available in Otley town centre at present, and the town emerging from the recent restrictions in remarkably good health, it’s time for someone new to take over and continue Dowgill’s legacy.”
It is on the market on a freehold basis, with a guide price of over £550,000.
