AN angling club has paid tribute to one of its stalwart members following his death aged 84.
Keith Brown, who lived at Riddlesden, was membership and match secretary of Marsden Star Angling Society.
He was the last in a line of three brothers pivotal to the running of the society for more than 60 years.
A club spokesperson said: “Keith still took part in all the fish stocking and clean-ups right up until his death – you would see him walking the canal banks at Keighley, checking fishermen’s licences. He was a great man, a hard worker for the club and also a great friend to all. He will be sadly missed by everyone.”
