CELEBRATIONS in Ilkley will be the subject of a zoom meeting being staged by the local history hub.

People are being invited to come forward with their memories of celebrations in the town.

Alex Cockshott from Ilkley Local History Hub said: "In 1856 Ilkley joined in national celebrations for the first time, for the peace treaty following the Crimean War.

"Do you have memories of activities of Celebrations in Ilkley? What happened at the end of World War Two, or for the 1953 Coronation? And how did Ilkley celebrate the Queen’s Jubilees since then?
