A MEMBER of Bracken Ghyll Golf Club is aiming to play as many holes as possible in a day to raise money for the mental health charity MIND.

Will Stoker, who has been playing golf for 51 years and a member of the club in Skipton Road, Addingham since 2013 said: “Mental health is very much in people’s thoughts in these strange and difficult times. MIND is the chosen charity of our Bracken Ghyll 2020/21 Club Captains, Duncan Hall and Shirin Borrett. I will undertake this challenge on Wednesday 30th June, a day relatively free of any competitive golf and, hopefully, with some decent weather!”

In 2016 Will played 103 holes in a day to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

He added: “This time it will be 100% for MIND. Your support will be greatly appreciated and if you would like to donate, you can visit my ‘Just Giving’ page at: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/WillStokerGolfChallenge
