THE return of classic and historic trains to the area following the further easing of coronavirus restrictions have been welcomed by enthusiasts.
This picture of a 'Black 5' was taken by Philip Winstanley on Tuesday as it passed Settle junction on its way from Carnforth to the North York Moors Railway, via York.
Regular steam trains are due to start on Tuesday next week along the Settle and Carlisle line.
