POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman sneaked into a block of flats and robbed an 87-year-old man.
The woman gained access to the building in Blackthorn Road, Ilkley, at around 10.55am on Monday, March 29.
She then entered the elderly victim's flat and forcibly grabbed an amount of cash from him, before pushing him off balance and fleeing the scene.
The woman is described as white and in her 40s, about 5ft 8ins tall, of thin build and with short dark hair.
Police are continuing their enquiries and are appealing for members of the public to come forward if they witnessed a woman acting suspiciously in the area around that time, or if they have any information which may assist the investigation.
