THE NEW deputy vice-chancellor at Leeds Trinity University has been recognised by the sector for commitment to student learning and strategic leadership in teaching.
Professor Malcolm Todd has been awarded Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA). He joins approximately 1,300 other Principal Fellows of the HEA around the world.
He said: “I am delighted to be awarded Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and represent Leeds Trinity. As a university, we are committed to excellence in teaching and learning, enhancing the student experience and developing highly employable graduates. I look forward to engaging further and contributing to this community.”
Professor Charles Egbu, Vice-Chancellor at Leeds Trinity University, added: “We are incredibly proud that Professor Todd has been recognised with this prestigious award. The Fellowship highlights Malcolm’s commitment and contribution to student learning, as well as strategic leadership in teaching. It is a fantastic achievement for him and great news for the university.”
Professor Todd joined Leeds Trinity as Interim in August 2020.
