FLY tippers dumped over 220 tyres at one of the District's most popular beauty spots.
Bradford Council's Countryside and Rights of Way team were called to the top of Ilkley Moor this morning following reports of fly tipping.
When they arrived they found that 225 tyres had been left on the moor.
They have since been removed at the taxpayers' expense.
£300,000 to tackle fly tipping in Bradford is approved
A spokesman for the service Tweeted a photo of a pile of tyres on the moor this afternoon, saying: "Today we removed 225 fly-tipped tyres from the top of Ilkley Moor.
"We have much better things to do with our time."
The authority is currently investigating to find who is responsible for the fly tipping.
