CITY are taking a couple of young talents on trial from Farsley Celtic's academy.
Their captain, Keanan Mannings, is going there, as is goalkeeper Rhys Toft.
Mannings, who is a defensive midfielder, was due to be on trial at Doncaster earlier this year, but that did not go through due to lockdown, so City have been able nip in and take advantage.
Toft has pedigree in Football League academy football, having spent time with Oldham before joining Farsley.
Mannings and Toft are two of the three Farsley youngsters about to go out on trial, with young winger Moussa Sidibe off to Barnsley to prove himself.
