A MAN who appealed for unwanted jigsaws in last week’s paper has reported a great response.
Simon Heathcote made an appeal for the donation of unwanted jigsaws so they can be redistributed to help elderly people through lockdown in Ilkley, Ben Rhydding and Addingham.
He came up with the idea after reading about the health benefits of completing jigsaw puzzles.
He said: “I had a great response and now have in excess of 120 jigsaws. However, it appears my issue was not attracting donations of jigsaws but a lack of people who would like to receive a jigsaw to complete. Any person/s who feel they would like a jigsaw in these difficult times should contact me so it can be arranged. Delivery in the local area is free and there is no cost whatsoever. All jigsaws are in very good condition and Covid free.”
