THE magical light installation Peeping In which took place at the Manor House in Ilkley during December has been hailed a success.
It was a winter and Christmas themed visual installation designed to be viewed by peeping through the Manor House ground floor 16th century windows revealing two magical scenes.
The installation was created with a LiT grant from Bradford Council which focused on winter light installations in unusual places.
A Manor House spokesperson said: “We did a number of head counts over the days the event was on and we estimate that around 2,500 people came to see the Peeping In lights and we received many wonderful comments from visitors.
“If you did attend the event Bradford Council who funded the event would love to get some feedback from you.”

There was a competition for visitors to guess how many snowflakes there were in the Heritage Room. There were in fact 1,020 and most of these were made by members of the public. The winner has received a voucher for the local store, Games Crusade.
