Flood alert
THE Met Office has issued an amber warning of heavy rain for North Yorkshire meaning flooding is likely.
The warning is from 6am tomorrow, Tuesday, until midnight on Wednesday.
Heavy rain on already saturated ground, coupled with snow melt on higher ground will contribute to the dangers and motorists are being told to plan their journeys wisely and only travel if it is essential.
