THE Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow which could affect parts of Craven tomorrow.
This morning freezing rain affected roads and pavements in the district which happens when 'supercooled' rain falls on cold surfaces and freezes on contact, even when the air temperature is above freezing.
Heavy rain is due later this afternoon which is expected to turn to sleet by early tomorrow morning. Heavy snow may fall, particularly on higher ground, later tomorrow morning turning to sleet by mid-day.
