LIVERSEDGE FC worked with the Jo Cox Foundation to deliver food hampers around Cleckheaton just before Christmas.
The 35 hampers, which contained a joint of meat, potatoes, crackers, cheese, biscuits, chocolates and cakes, were delivered to needy families in the area on Tuesday.
"People have been having a hard time at the moment," said Jonathan Rimmington, manager of Liversedge FC. "We hope these food hampers will help people who haven't got much."
Jonathan explained that the club is keen to do more projects like this with the foundation as the Jo Cox Memorial Wood borders the club's football ground.
"Together we can help each other," added Jonathan, who said the foundation logo is on the club shirts.
