WHARFEDALE German Circle has used the lockdown period to create a user-friendly new website.
The site, www.germancircle.ilkley.org, is hosted by ilkley.org and replaces the group’s previous site which was produced - from scratch - by a WGC member 13 years ago.
The website has been created with professional help from Dales Web Design and features text, photos and storyboard designs provided by members. WGC would like to thank Ilkley and Otley Town Councils, and Burley-in-Wharfedale Parish Council, for the grants they provided.
A group spokesperson said: “Our members made good use of the lockdown with involvement at all stages of the design and, after online training, are up for the challenge of maintaining the site. Activities and events are currently being held online but the WGC is looking forward to meeting again in person.” For more details send an e-mail to wgcircle@gmail.com.
