ASKED the question ‘what advice would you give to the younger generation?’ residents of a Craven care home came up with some very pertinent answers.
One responded ‘find a good man’ while another came up with ‘do well in school, and get a good job’. Another resident’s best advice was to take care of your money and put it in the bank.
Megan Haigh, activities co-ordinator at The Dales Care Home in Draughton, said she wanted to give the residents, who range in ages from 75 to 95, a chance to share their top tips of life during the coronavirus lockdown.
The Barchester Healthcare run home says it is welcoming new residents into its homes and has a very clear admission policy and infection control protocols.
The Dales Care home provides residential and dementia care and also respite care.
