POLICE are appealing for information following a sexual assault at Crossflatts.
The incident happened at about 7.15pm last Thursday (Oct 15) in Keighley Road, at its junction with Queen's Road.
A 63-year-old woman was walking along Keighley Road when she was approached by a man in a vehicle.
He got out of the car, made sexual comments and grabbed her.
The victim managed to run off.
The man is described as white, in his 50s, with dark hair but bald on top, 5ft 10in tall and of large build.
The car was a dark-coloured 4x4 and there were two dogs, one large and the other small, on the passenger seat.
Anyone in the area at the time who saw anything suspicious, or who has any information, is asked to contact the police via 101 – quoting crime reference number 13200517492.
