ANOTHER two Coronavirus deaths have been announced at Bradford hospitals today, as the national number of deaths has jumped to 81.

Both deaths occurred at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one yesterday and one on Tuesday.

This takes the total number of Covid-19 deaths across the Bradford district to 385, with 268 of these taking place at Bradford Teaching Hospitals. Airedale NHS Foundation Trust has seen 115, while Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust has recorded two.

Nationally, 81 more people have been recorded as dying with Covid-19, taking England's total to 30,743.

Patients who have died were aged 40 to 99-years-old, and all but three, aged between 67 and 86, had known underlying health conditions.

Yorkshire and the North East saw the most of these deaths, with 30, followed by 23 in the North West and 14 in the Midlands.
