A BRADFORD McDonald's restaurant has confirmed it has had a positive case of Coronavirus among its workforce.

The fast-food restaurant, in Rooley Lane at the top of the M606, had one positive case, and the member of staff is currently isolating in line with Government guidelines.

The team member went into isolation as soon as they received their test results, as did colleagues who have been in close contact.

McDonald's has reassured customers that the restaurant is still safe and has numerous strict health checks on staff.

A spokesperson for McDonald's said: Last week, an employee at our Bradford Rooley Lane restaurant tested positive for COVID-19 and immediately self-isolated.

"As soon as we were informed, the restaurant was deep cleaned as a precautionary measure and we contacted all restaurant employees.

"We have a number of safety measures in place to help keep our people safe, including temperature checks at the start of each shift, face coverings, regular hand washing and the use of hand sanitiser.”
