MORE than 900 people who were admitted to Bradford Royal Infirmary for treatment for Coronavirus have been discharged since the pandemic began, it has been revealed.
Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has said that 917 patients have been discharged from BRI , or are no longer receiving treatment, since Covid-19 hit at the start of this year.
This number rose by 14 after a number of patients left hospital yesterday.
This number dwarfs the number of deaths Bradford Teaching Hospitals has seen so far in the pandemic, which as of yesterday stood at 266. This means more than 77 per cent of people admitted to Bradford Teaching Hospitals with Covid-19 survive.
