CASH and suspected Class A drugs have been seized following early morning raids in Bradford at the weekend.

Led by the Precision Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery Team, properties in Horton Park were raided on Saturday, and two men arrested.

One, aged 25, was arrested on suspicion of Proceeds of Crime Act offences and the other, 21, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Both were released under investigation.

The operation took place under Programme Precision, a collaborative response with West Yorkshire Police working with key partners and communities tackling serious and organised crime and protecting the vulnerable, keeping people safe and feeling safer.

Officers from the Operational Support Unit and Bradford District supported the efforts tackling the sale and supply of Class A drugs to prevent harm and to target and disrupt the organised exploitation of vulnerable people.

Detective Sergeant Ricky Scott, from Programme Precision, said: “We will continue to work together with our partners and communities to target crime gangs who exploit vulnerable people as part of their criminal enterprise.

“I want to reassure people that we are listening to your concerns, if you suspect illegal activity in your area please get in touch and we will take action to address this.”

To report criminal activity or if you thinking vulnerable people are being exploited, call police on 101, use the live chat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website, or contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
