ILKLEY Rugby Club will again be taking on Ilkley Cricket Club on Sunday, September 20 with wickets pitched at 12:30pm.
This is an opportunity for both sets of club members to enjoy a fun day hosted by Ilkley Cricket Club. Entry to the ground is free.
With club income in short supply for both rugby and cricket due to the pandemic, it is an ideal opportunity for rugby and cricket members to show their support.
The Cricket Club bar is open from noon so fans can relax before the match.
It is a 35 overs match so it’s a good chance for players to round off the season in style or, in the case of the rugby players, to brush up their skills, score some runs and bowl well.
A spokesperson said: “Make a good day of it as there will be a Hog Roast available so bring the family and have your Sunday lunch at the Cricket Club. No need to struggle parking your car as the Rugby Club car park will be available to all.
“This match should display some exciting cricket with the Rugby Club looking for a convincing win according to Captain, Ed Brown!
“Here’s to a really good day out. Everyone is welcome.”
