PEOPLE are being urged to help make 100,000 face coverings to distribute to vulnerable people and communities across the Bradford district.

The project is being led by Bradford Together and Community Action Bradford & District.

A spokesman said: “To help us reach the target, we are calling on businesses across the district to assist with production.

“This could be done during breaks, taken home by staff or done at work as a team activity, whilst socially distanced. The material and template pack will be provided and delivered to your business. The campaign pack is also available in multiple languages. The only items you will need are a needle and thread or a sewing machine, if you have access to one. We also welcome donations of face coverings from businesses to help us reach the target.”

Drop-off points include Action Point in Keighley. Email together@participateprojects.org.uk.
