THIS sculpture “The Trezion” by Barbara Hepworth is situated on the circular area between the Abbot Hall Art Gallery and the Museum of Lakeland Life.
During the 1940’s this area had a wooden floor and open air dancing took place here, whilst the main gallery was used as a children’s nursery. The hall and stable block were purchased by Kendal Corporation in 1896 for £3,750.
